<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroluminescent panel capable of enhancing a yield rate through restraint of dark spots. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An electroluminescent element 20 includes a transistor array panel 50 having pixel electrodes 20a formed on a top face, insulating films 5 formed in the pixel electrodes 20a, barrier ribs 6 fitted on top of the insulating films 5, a hole injection layer 20b formed on top of the pixel electrodes 20a and the barrier ribs 6, a light-emitting layer 20c formed on top of the hole injection layer 20b, and a counter electrode 20d formed on top of the light-emitting layer 20c, with top ends of the insulating films 5 protruded further toward a side of the pixel electrodes 20a than bottom ends.
