<p>PURPOSE: A bandwidth allocation system and method for data retransmission in a wireless communication system are provided to classify the kind of the bandwidth allocation request by providing a bandwidth request header for retransmitted data. CONSTITUTION: A terminal(10) transmits a bandwidth allocation request message. The bandwidth allocation request message comprises an electrical transmission data coding scheme information classifying the initial transmission and retransmission of data to be transmitted. A base station(20) assigns the bandwidth for the initial transmission of data and data in a different mode.</p> |
