<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice localization technology by which the feeling of incompatibility is not generated even when a speaker position is frequently changed. <P>SOLUTION: A video/voice output device includes: a video analysis section 11 for specifying the position of a speaker by analyzing video images; a speaker voice localization parameter setting section 12 for setting the value of a speaker voice localization parameter so as to localize voice at the specified position of the speaker; a video history holding section 13 for holding the history information of the specified speaker position; a speaker voice localization parameter adjustment section 14 for analyzing the history information, and when determining that the specified position of the speaker is changed for a predetermined change amount or more within a predetermined time interval, adjusting the value of the speaker voice localization parameter so as to reduce the change of a localization position for the value of the speaker voice localization parameter set in the speaker voice localization parameter setting section 12; a localization processing section 15 for changing the localization of the voice according to the adjusted value of the speaker voice localization parameter; and a voice output section 17 for outputting the voice whose localization is changed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
