<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lance-oscillation detecting apparatus and a method for adjusting the lance-oscillation detecting sensor by which even in the case of moving the upper part of the lance developing the curvature from the standard position in the horizontal direction, the position-adjusting work for detecting the oscillation generated to the lance is simply performed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The lance-oscillation detecting apparatus arranged for detecting slopping generated during blowing in a furnace and detecting the oscillation at the upper part of the lance positioned at the upper part in the furnace opening hole to the lance inserted in the furnace by a lance hanging-down device, includes: a movable plate 3 arranged on the horizontal hanging-down plate in the lance hanging-down device; the plurality of oscillation detecting sensors 4a-4c arranged on the movable plate 3 and in the circumference of the lance 2; and a fixing/releasing means 5 for fixing or releasing the movable plate 3 and the horizontal hanging-down plate 1.
