<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding device for an in-vehicle stretcher can slid a device stand for fixing the stretcher to a given position and fix on the position. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The sliding device includes a guide axis 21 arranged on a moving direction so as to move the stretcher in a width direction with the device stand 10 fixed, a slide mechanism 20 having a slide bearing allowing slide in a guide axis direction, an engagement means 27 having a positioning part to mount the device stand 10 on a vehicle with the slide mechanism 20 and to fix a goal of the device stand 10 in the stretcher width direction, and a positioning mechanism 30 having an engagement part capable of being engaged with/detached from the positioning part. The device stand 10 is fixed at a predetermined position on the vehicle with the positioning mechanism 30, operating handles 33, 34 are mounted respectively on the device stands 10 provided on both longitudinal ends of the stretcher, which are connected to an interlocking mechanism 35 along with a movable side of the positioning mechanism 30.
