<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide arrangement and design suitable when a mixed waste treatment plant and a waste plastic based waste treatment plant are jointly provided. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The waste treatment plant is provided with: a first line 60 sorting out waste plastics PL; a sorting out section 70 sorting out waste plastics from mixed waste MX; a second line 90 treating second waste plastics MX122 sorted out from the mixed waste MX at the sorting out section 70; and a residue treatment section treating the residues MX2, MX121 of mixed waste other than the second waste plastics 122 sorted out at the sorting out section 70, wherein the first line 60 and the second line 90 are arranged in parallel.
