The method involves decomposing each image into binary images associated with a luminous weight. The binary images are displayed several times during a display period. The sum of the periods during which a binary image is displayed is proportional to the weight of the image. The image displayed several times is stored as group of two pixels, which are duplicated by multiplexing before supplied to a display device. An Independent claim is also included for a digital display device. |
