<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device and a luminaire which significantly reduce power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: When a light controlled state is set to be several% of a full lighting state (100%) by a wireless terminal 41, and discharge lamps 2, 3 are turned off by reducing operation frequencies of field effect transistors 141, 142 of an inverter circuit 14, a standby state setting part 206 stops inverter operation by an inverter circuit control part 203 of a DSP 20, and shifts operation of the entire DSP 20 to a low power consumption mode based on a turn-off signal from the control part 312. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
