CHARGING/DISCHARGING SYSTEM AND ELECTRIC VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging/discharging system which can set the switching of charging control and discharging control from the outside of a vehicle without specially installing an antenna for communication.

SOLUTION: A control pilot circuit 332A of a power cable 20A having a male plug 320A generates a pilot signal CPLT which can discriminate the power cable as a power cable for charging at a vehicle side. A control pilot circuit of a power cable having a female plug (not shown in the figure) generates the pilot signal CPLT which can discriminate the power cable as a power cable for power feeding at the vehicle side. An ECU 240 of the vehicle controls an AC-DC converter in either a charging mode or a power-feeding mode following the pilot signal CPLT.
