PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle speed control device which can perform control matching a driver's sense of danger when the vehicle enters a curve. SOLUTION: A present value KdB_c(a)_p of a corrected evaluation index of approach/separation condition is calculated from equation (1), and deceleration control is started when the KdB_c(a)_p exceeds a threshold value determined from a braking determining equation (S7). In the deceleration control, a corrected target relative speed is calculated using a corrected target relative speed calculating equation based on the corrected evaluation index of approach/separation condition KdB (S9), wherein Vr<SB>_Gy</SB>_offset, Vr<SB>_Gy</SB>, a, and Ds indicate a curve-time target passage speed (a target speed when traveling a curved road), a speed difference between the curve-time target passage speed and the speed of one's own vehicle, a constant and a curve entrance arrival distance (a distance from the own vehicle to the entrance of the curved road), respectively.
