PURPOSE:To provide an electrostatic recording body by which good images of high densities are obtained and which is suited for repetitive use by providing a layer contg. an electron acceptive material between the conductive substrate and dielectric recording layer of said body thereby forming a barrier layer. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic recording body 1 is constituting of laminated layers of a conductive substrate (or conductive layer) 101, a layer 102 contg. an electron acceptive material, and a dielectric layer (dielectric recording layer) 103. Since the electron acceptive layer is provided, the electric charge supplied on the surface of the recording body is better held, the generation of leakage electric charge is inhibited and the efficiency of AC destaticization is improved. For example, a soln. consisting of 5pts. 2, 7-dinitrofluorenone as an electron acceptive material, 5pts. a polyester resin a binder and 90pts. tetrahydrofuran as a solvent is coated on a nickel belt (conductive substrate) and is dried; further a dielectric layer consisting of a polyamide resin is provided thereon. |
