PURPOSE:To obtain a regulator for a vibration gyro in which a drift of the gyro due to a temperature change can be reduced. CONSTITUTION:A vibration gyro 10 is mounted at a cutting machine 34. The gyro 10 is heated by a halogen lamp 32, and a temperature drift is measured by a temperature drift measuring unit 38. Resonance frequencies of a plurality of directions of the type 10 are measured by a frequency measuring unit 48. A cut amount of a vibrator 12 is calculated from a difference of the drift and the plurality of frequencies by a controller 54. The cut amount of the vibrator 12 is decided based on an empirically obtained cut amount as well. When the cut amount of the vibrator 12 is decided, a rodlike file 36 to be rotated in response to it is pressed to the vibrator 12, and the vibrator 12 is cut. |
