<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide linear motor-type sliding door equipment which facilitates the position setting of a coil means in the moving direction of a door body, and an assembling method for the linear motor-type sliding door equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The door body 1 is opened/closed with a coil device 65 as the coil means which is suspended from a guide rail 60 as a guide member arranged on the upside of the door body and attached to a head member 4 as an immovable member, and with a magnet device 70 which serves as a magnet means attached to the door body. A control device 63 as a control means is mounted on a bracket member 62 which is positioned in the moving direction of the door body by abutting on the guide rail 60 and arranged on the head member 4.
