<p>The present invention relates to sustained release pharmaceutical compositions of ropinirole, process for preparing such compositions and method of using such compositions. More particularly, the present invention relates to a single layer sustained release pharmaceutical composition comprising ropinirole and a rate controlling polymer selected from a hydrophilic polymer or a mixture of hydrophilic and hydrophobic polymer.</p>
