PURPOSE: A coating material for forming a porous semiconductor film and a photovoltaic cell are provided to ensure excellent photovoltaic conversion efficiency, to improve the diffusivity of electrolyte, and to secure large processing area of a semiconductor film. CONSTITUTION: A coating material for forming a porous semiconductor film comprises crystalline titanium oxide microparticles, thickening agent and dispersing medium. The crystalline titanium oxide microparticles are obtained by adding a crystallizing agent to a supply source, heat-treating the mixture with water, removing the crystallizing agent, and treating the microparticles with alkakli. |
