PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composition that is liquid at an ambient temperature, and forms a cured product having excellent heat-resistance. SOLUTION: The epoxy resin composition comprises a bisphenol-type epoxy resin (A) of 150-1,000 g/eq epoxy equivalent, an acid group-containing radically polymerizable monomer (B) represented by methacrylic acid, and a radical polymerization initiator (C) as essential components. A method for producing the cured product comprises heating the epoxy resin composition and performing the reaction of the epoxy radical of the epoxy resin (A) with the acid radical of the monomer (B), and simultaneously performing polymerization caused by the radically polymerizable group of the monomer (B).
