<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the display quality, yield, and reliability by preventing a failure due to gap variation or seal peeling by damage of a seal positioned in a bent section, in a bent type liquid crystal panel. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The bent type liquid crystal panel 100 includes a switching element substrate 110 and color filter substrate 120 arranged facing each other, liquid crystal 140 arranged between the substrates, a seal material 130 that is arranged between the substrates, sticks the substrates to each other, and surrounds and seals the liquid crystal 140, and the bent section where a substrate surface formed on at least part of the substrates and the seal material 130 are bent together. A reinforcing material 130ad for reinforcing the seal material 130 is formed outside of the liquid crystal 140 of the seal material 130 in a part where the seal material 130 is bent.
