The method involves forming a thermoplastic component (1), which is permanently fixed to a metal component (2) by a hardened composition. The outer side component is formed integrally with the metal component to connect a thermoplastic surface, and is aligned with multiple metal components. A glass-fiber reinforced polyamide is utilized in manufacturing of motor component. An independent claim is included for a method for fixing a component at another component, at which the former component is fixed by a layer of hardened composition.
