<p>A paper treating machine (1) is provided with a temporary storage section (20) which is connected to a feed section (16) inside a case (10) and temporarily stores paper thrown in a throw-in section (12) from the outside of the case (10). The temporary storage section (20) is configured so as to allow access from outside. The temporary storage section (20) can function as a throw-in section in which paper is thrown from the outside of the case (10) and/or a throw-out section from which the paper in the case (10) is thrown out.</p>
