Even in a mobile terminal which can handle registered information independently of a mobile terminal body, an administrator can easily and accurately perform a function limit. Provided is a mobile terminal (110) including: a card information acquisition unit (324) which acquires registration information including a telephone number and a contractor identifier and limit information for limiting the function usable in the mobile terminal, from an IC card containing the registration information and the limit information inseparably stored; a terminal operation unit (350) which operates the mobile terminal in accordance with the registration information; and a function limit unit (352) which limits the function usable in the terminal in accordance with the limit information while the mobile terminal is operated by a terminal operation unit.
