<p>A gun-type multifunctional input controller for a game comprises a gun-type housing (1), function buttons (3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13) and a rocker (2) for controlling direction provided on the housing (1), a photoelectric emitter, an electromechanical combination mechanism simulating the operation of a real gun, a rolling ball unit (7) for controlling movement of the visual angle, a speaker unit (9), and an interface communicating with the game host computer for running the game. The function buttons (3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13) and the rocker (2) are used for controlling action and movement of the virtual person in the game; the photoelectric emitter assures the two dimensional coordinate on screen of TV or display of the aiming point and generates an impulse signal, the electromechanical combination mechanism is used for simulating the same operation of the real gun; the rolling ball unit (7) is used for controlling movement of the visual angle of the virtual person in the game; the speaker unit (9) is used for playing various sounds demanded in the game; the signals produced or received by the above function are sent or fed back to the host computer via the communication interface in wireless or wired mode.</p> |
