PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling storage capable of surely restarting a compressor by balancing pressures at a refrigerant inlet side and a refrigerant outlet side of the compressor in restarting the compressor. SOLUTION: In the cooling storage, the compressor 12 is stopped when each of detection temperatures DR, DF of temperature sensors 25a, 25b of the cooling compartments 5a, 5b reaches OFF a temperature value Df1, Df2 or less set for every cooling compartment 5a, 5b, and then a solenoid valve 32 of a bypass passage 31 is switched on only for a valve opening time bt, when any of the detection temperatures DR, DF of the temperature sensors 25a, 25b reaches a bypass ON temperature value Db1, Db2 or more set for every cooling compartment 5a, 5b.
