<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition which does not deteriorate adhesion with base materials even when applied to the base materials for thin type display substrates and cured using active energy beams, and which forms a hard coat layer providing display substrates with curling suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition for display substrates includes an active energy beam-polymerizable monomer (a) having three or more (meth)acryloyl groups in the molecule, and an active energy beam-polymerizable polyester (meth)acrylate (b) having at least one polyfunctional group selected from P1 and P2 having the following multibranch structure.
