PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grab bucket-type unloader which enables a dredged material to be stably and efficiently unloaded by pressurized water jetted into a grab bucket, even if a dredged material grabbed with the grab bucket is a low-viscosity material such as sediment. SOLUTION: In this grab bucket-type unloader, either of a pair of shells 10L and 10R is provided with a submerged pump PU; an unloading pipe P is connected to the other one of the pair of shells 10L and 10R; water is sucked in with the submerged pump PU; and the pressurized water is jetted into the sealed storage chamber C in the grab bucket G, so as to squeeze-pump the dredged material in the shells 10L and 10R to the unloading pipe P.
