<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding core winding a resin film in a roll shape and suppressing horseback-shaped deformation even if it is left out too long, and to provide a manufacturing method of film roll using the winding core. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the winding core 11 for winding the resin film 12 in a roll shape, the winding core 11 satisfying the expression of E >0.06×Aa<SP>3</SP>/I is used. Wherein, E is an elastic modulus [MPa] of the winding core, A is a total mass [kg] of the winding core and the resin film, a is a width of the resin film [mm], and I is a secondary moment [mm<SP>4</SP>] of the cross-section of the winding core.
