PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device in which recording accuracy on a recording medium is improved. SOLUTION: When a recording operation is carried out, an inkjet printer rotates a cylinder 32, thereby moving a support face 32b of the cylinder 32 to a support position. In addition, when a flashing operation is carried out, the inkjet printer locates the inkjet head and an opening 19 of a conveyance belt 8 opposite to each other, and rotates the cylinder 32, thereby moving the support face 32b of the cylinder 32 to a retracting position and locating an opening 32a of the cylinder 32 opposite the inkjet head.
