PURPOSE: A tilt cylinder speed increasing apparatus is provided to prevent damage to a workpiece due to slow tilting speed on a forklift truck. CONSTITUTION: A tilt cylinder speed increasing apparatus comprises an electronically controlled engine(1), an engine control unit(2), a tilt working lever(5), a two-way valve(6) for controlling the direction of the fluid pressure flowing into a tilt cylinder(7), a tilt cylinder, and a hydraulic pump(8). A selection switch(3) is installed on an input terminal of the engine control unit. The selection switch controls the drive rate of the tilt cylinder through one mode between an automatic mode and a manual mode. A pressure sensor(4) is installed on one side of the tilt working lever.
