<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition excellent in that contamination by generation of bacteria and fungus (molding and yeast) generated in a wet-area is continuously prevented without coloring a portion to be applied. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The coating composition contains a salt of zinc (II) ion, polyacrylamide and water as a solvent, and 0.01-100 mM of the salt and 0.001-10 mass% of polyacrylamide are contained relative to the liquid agent.
