<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment dispersion excellent in dispersion stability of the pigment even in the case of long term storage, and to provide an ink composition using the pigment dispersion. <P>SOLUTION: A pigment dispersion comprises at least a pigment; 2-50 mass% of a repeating unit expressed by formula (1), wherein R<SP>1</SP>represents a hydrogen atom or methyl group, I represents -CO-, -COO-, -CONR<SP>3</SP>-, -OCO- or a phenylene group, and R<SP>3</SP>represents a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, aryl group, or aralkyl group, Y represents a single bond or divalent linking group, R<SP>2</SP>represents a 1-4C alkyl group, and R<SP>2</SP>and Y may together form a ring structure; 2-40 mass% of a repeating unit expressed by formula (2), wherein R<SP>4</SP>represents a hydrogen atom or methyl group, J represents -CO-, -COO-, -CONR<SP>5</SP>-, -OCO- or a phenylene group, R<SP>5</SP>represents a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, aryl group, or aralkyl group, W represents a single bond or divalent linking group, and P represents a heterocyclic residue having a heterocyclic ring included in an organic dye; and a polymer having a weight-average molecular weight of 10,000-500,000, wherein a pigment concentration is 2-50 mass%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
