<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a living body observation apparatus improved in detection accuracy. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This living body observation apparatus includes: an objective unit disposed close to a sample; an imaging device for imaging the sample; an objective unit driving device for driving the objective unit in the direction of correcting displacement of the sample; and a control device for the imaging device, which sets a frame rate of the imaging device according to a magnifying power of a lens provided in the objective unit.
