Protection door with a frame sided sealing

The door has a door frame (1) at which a plate or layer (2) is fastened. A rebate section (7) overlaps a case section (12) for a closed door and has a segment (7b) that lies in a door plane. Rubber and ceramic seals (14, 15) are arranged in the segment. A U-shaped retaining strip (25) is fixed to the case section on a side of the segment for receiving of a frame-lateral seal that is provided in the door and points to a top of the door. A material is provided between the strip and the frame-lateral seal that is made of ceramic material, and expands during heating.
