PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator rope oiling device capable of preventing enlargement, certainly and stably oiling to a rope, and improving oiling efficiency to the rope. SOLUTION: The elevator rope oiling device 10 comprises an oil storing portion 12 storing oil 11 for supplying oil to the rope hanging a car, a first part 14 made from material absorbing the oil 11 in the oil storing portion 12 and disposed in the oil 11 in the oil storing portion 12, an oil absorbing member 13 having a second part 15 contacting with the rope 3, and a contact state keeping means 20 keeping a contact state between the second part 15 of the oil absorbing member 13 and an outer peripheral surface 3T of the rope 3.
