摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing by which steel for cold forging excellent in the dimensional accuracy and the smoothness of a surface is easily obtained. SOLUTION: This manufacturing equipment includes ladles 2, a casting apparatus 4, a blooming mill 6, a peeling machine 8, a heating furnace 10, a roughing-train mill 12, a flying shear 14, an intermediate-train mill 16, a finishing-train mill 18, a prefinishing mill 20, a sizing block mill 22, a cooling bed 24, a cold shear 26 and a blasting machine 28. Peeling with the peeling machine 8 is applied to a bloom which is obtained with the blooming mill 6. Oxidized scale is removed by peeling. By applying rolling to the bloom heated in the heating furnace 10 with the roughing-train mill 12, the intermediate-train mill 16 and the finishing-train mill 18, a base material is obtained. By applying sizing to this base material with the prefinishing mill 20 and the sizing block mill 22, a long size steel is obtained.
