PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer device for easily achieving failure analysis by recording a large amount of high speed bus transmission/reception history without deteriorating high speed bus waveform. SOLUTION: This data transfer device includes: a system bus interface 20 connected to an MC51; a high speed I/O bus interface connected to a high speed I/O bus switch 54; a history selection control part 10 for selecting a part of transmission/reception data to be transferred between the MC51 and the high speed I/O bus switch 54; a buffer 11 connected to the history selection control part 10 for storing a part of the transmission/reception data selected by the history selection control part 10; and a low speed bus interface for outputting a part of the transmission/reception data stored by the buffer 11 to an observation machine 200.
