PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner reducing power consumption when combined with a cooling and heating machine. SOLUTION: This air cleaner includes an air blower 8 for sucking air, and purifying and supplying the air sucked by the air blower 8. This air cleaner is further provided with a temperature sensor 42a detecting the ambient temperature, and a control section 40 controlling the rotation of the air blower 8 according to a time when the temperature detected by the temperature sensor 42a continuously rises or continuously lowers.
