<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of: suppressing a temperature rise in a non-paper passing area in a state where a compact recording paper continuously passes; reducing a temperature difference between a paper passing area and the non-paper passing area, thereby preventing image-quality deterioration in the compact recording paper; and preventing the thermal deterioration in a fixing roller and a pressure roller. <P>SOLUTION: The fixing device 120 includes: the fixing roller 1; the pressure roller 2; an electromagnetic induction heating part 4; and a heat pipe 3. The pressure roller 2 includes a metal layer, then, the heat directly transmitted from the fixing roller 1 to the pressure roller 2 is transported by means of the metal layer of the pressure roller 2, so that the temperature in the axial direction of the pressure roller 2 can be made uniform. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
