<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning tool for steamers which can simply and quickly clean the inner peripheral surface of a mesh cylinder in the steamer, can reduce the work load on a worker, and can improve the work efficiency of a process of steaming tea leaves. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The cleaning tool 120 for steamers has a base shaft 121 supported instead of a stirring shaft 115 of the steamer 100 in a state that a brush 122 is helically wound on the base shaft. The base shaft 121 is a cylindrical shaft member, and is detachably and rotatably supported on bearings 118a, 118b of the steamer 100. The brush 122 is formed of many fibrous resin members. When deposits are stuck to the inner peripheral surface of the mesh cylinder 113 in the steamer 100, the worker makes the bearings 118a, 118b support the cleaning tool 120 for the steamer instead of the stirring shaft 115 to dispose the brush 122 on the inside of the mesh cylinder 113.
