PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multicarrier communication device that secures reliability of communication in an environment where a disturbing wave exists. SOLUTION: In the multicarrier communication device, a communication control unit 2 selects one or a plurality of frequency bands which are usable out of respective passing frequency bands of band-pass filters 14a to 14d based upon noise levels by subcarriers, specifies one of the frequency bands as an in-use frequency band for reception during the reception, reports the in-use frequency band for reception to a communication partner, and controls switching operations of filter switching units 13a and 13b to perform switching to a band-pass filter that passes an in-use frequency band for reception that an in-use band specifying means specifies or an in-use frequency band for reception reported from a multicarrier communication device as the communication partner during transmission and reception, and a transmission level adjustment unit 7 adjusts the signal level of a multicarrier signal to be transmitted based upon the frequency band of the band-pass filter 14 used during the transmission and reception.
