PURPOSE: A dual band patch antenna is provided to implement a left circular polarization and a right circular polarization for two different frequencies easily, by feeding between two patches. CONSTITUTION: A dual band patch antenna includes a first, a second and a third dielectrics(301, 303, 305). Each dielectric has first and second planes facing with each other. The first dielectric has a first frequency patch(307) and a first slot(321) on the first plane. The first frequency patch has a square shape. The first slot is arranged in the first frequency patch along the diagonal direction of the first frequency patch. The second dielectric has a feeder(309) consisting of a conductive pattern on the first plane. The first plane of the second dielectric contacts with the second plane of the first dielectric. The third dielectric has a second frequency patch(311) and a second slot(323) on the first plane. The second frequency patch has a square shape. The second slot is arranged in the second frequency path along the diagonal line of the second frequency patch. The second slot crosses with the first slot. The first plane of the third dielectric contacts with the second plane of the second frequency. |
