PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onboard apparatus and the like which can impart proper information to the family or the like of a user in case of emergency. SOLUTION: When receiving emergency warning broadcasting, a DTV tuner 10 transmits a detection signal to a navigation device 20. The navigation device 20 receives the detection signal, and acquires vehicle information including the location information of an own vehicle, the speed of the own vehicle, the inclination of the own vehicle, and a key lock state, then enerates mail data including the vehicle information, and designates a mail address registered as the destination of notification in emergency.
