PURPOSE: A silt protector for an intake tower which has a safety diagnostic function is provided to prevent inflow of contaminant or a foreign material to a draft pipe of a lower part of the intake tower, and be easily and rapidly installed by performing a construction on the water. CONSTITUTION: A silt protector for an intake tower which has a safety diagnostic function comprises a lifting support structure frame(10) fixed to the upper outer surface of the intake tower, a buoy frame, a width-adjusting silt protector frame(30), and a sensor fixing frame. The buoy frame coupled with the lifting support structure frame is raised and lowered by buoyancy. The width-adjusting silt protector frame coupled with the buoy frame prevents inflow of foreign materials to a draft pipe by filtering. The sensor fixing frame is sensed water intake flow into the draft pipe. |
