摘要	<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner which, even when a colorant having high color reproducibility is used, prevents internal contamination and image defects due to sublimation and accumulation of the colorant upon long-term large volume printing, and which prevents image defects due to toner particles, further prevents toner scattering, and reduces downtime for maintenance. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing the toner containing at least a binder resin and a colorant is provided, which includes a step of reacting an unsaturated polyester resin with a colorant having at least a 1-alkenyl group to produce a colored polyester resin in which the colorant is bonded to the unsaturated polyester resin.
