<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect properly a part in a desired state, even in the case of a signal to be measured including a transient state. <P>SOLUTION: The first and second waveform data showing a power source and a DUT are stored respectively in a memory by using a waveform storage device. The first point of time when the power source reaches a prescribed voltage is determined by determining values of measurement items of the first waveform data. Successively, values of measurement items of the second waveform data are determined in the reverse time direction from the point of retrieval start time after a prescribed time from the first point of time. The second point of time when the values of the measurement items of the second waveform data reach the second prescribed state is determined.
