<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer driver for saving recording paper by deleting blank areas formed on an upper end side and a lower end side on each page and performing printing. <P>SOLUTION: A print image of one page is equally divided into a plurality of line images, line numbers are given, and it is sequentially determined whether or not the respective row images are blank images. The line number of the line image which is determined not to be a blank image first is stored and held as an upper end side line number and the line image is printed. Afterwards, the line images determined to be blank images are counted as the number of blank lines and line images determined not to be blank images are printed. At this time, when the number of blank lines is not 0, blank images are printed just for the number of blank lines and then line images determined not to be blank images are printed.
