PURPOSE: A protective cover for a pipe lagging material is provided to control the length of an anchor which enters into the insertion hole of a socket, thereby improving the insulation efficiency by controlling the degree of tightfitting between the pipe lagging material and a pipe. CONSTITUTION: A protective cover(30) protects a pipe lagging material(20) which is installed in the circumference of a pipe(10). The protective cover comprises a metal plate(60), a plurality of clamps(40), and a anchor(50). The metal plate adheres closely to the exterior of the pipe lagging material. Each of the clamps is installed in the one-sided end portion of the metal plate overlapped with the pipe lagging material. The anchor is installed in the other-sided end portion of the metal plate in order to be corresponded to the clamp one-to-one.
