<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a load in a network and concentration of traffic by displaying recommended content information in each terminal unit, without having to use a separate server, in a P2P-type information distribution system. <P>SOLUTION: Each terminal unit 1 constituting the P2P-type information distribution system acquires the reproduction history of a plurality of the terminal units 1 that holds the content information reproduced by the unit itself.
