<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated plate exhibiting excellent expression, excellent distinctiveness and excellent reproducibility in pattern. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The coated plate is prepared via ink-jet coating by applying ink ejected from a coating nozzle head 5 of an ink-jet coating device 4 onto a surface of a substrate 3 having convex parts 1 and concave parts 2.
