<p>A drive device provided with a dynamo-electric machine (MG1), a planetary gear device (P1) mounted on the inner side radially of the dynamo-electric machine (MG1) so as to be superposed axially on the dynamo-electric machine (MG1), a through shaft (I) penetrating through the inner side radially of a sun gear (s1) of the planetary gear device (P1), and a case (DC) for housing the dynamo-electric machine (MG1) and the planetary gear device (P1). The through shaft (I) is supported at opposite ends axially thereof by the case (DC) relative to the planetary gear device (P1). A rotor (Ro1) of the dynamo-electric machine (MG1) is connected integrally to the sun gear (s1) and is rotatably supported at two axially spaced positions. Either of the two positions of the rotor (Ro1) is supported by the case (DC), and the other position is supported by the through shaft (I) on the inner side radially of the sun gear (s1).</p> |
