PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image display apparatus which can improve a working efficiency and a recognition precision of an operator. SOLUTION: The medical image display apparatus 1 includes: a first extracting means for extracting from a three-dimensional image a plug device area of a plug device for plugging a humpy blood vessel part included in the three-dimensional image showing the inner part of a body to be inspected; a second extracting means for extracting a blood vessel area connected to the extracted plug device area from the three-dimensional image; a first calculating means for calculating root information related to the root part of the humpy blood vessel part from the relation between the extracted plug device area and the extracted blood vessel area; a second calculating means for calculating an affine transformation matrix for the three-dimensional image on the basis of the calculated root information; and a display means for carrying out an affine transformation of the three-dimensional image by the calculated affine transformation matrix and displaying the obtained three-dimensional image.
