<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a page layout suitable for bookbinding. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes a determination means which, when the booklet printing of forming a book by folding a plurality of sheets is set, determines whether the image data are laid out on a spread of the book based on the shape of image data laid out on the sheet; a decision means which decides whether the image data are divided and laid out based on an object in the image data determined to be laid out on the spread of the book; and a layout means which divides the image data decided to be divided and lays out each of the divided image data on the spread sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
